The Pauatahanui Village Plan sets out the views of the community as captured in a series of workshops late in 2008 and outlines the tasks required to retain, restore or improve the elements of our village that are most important to us.

Traffic Calming
A number of initiatives will be deployed to ease the traffic flowing through our village. Two new speed humps similar to those already installed will be placed at each end of the village. Towards the junction of Grays Road, the hump will force a reduction in speed prior to entering the village. The other will be half way between the SH58 roundabout and the corner by Stace cottage.
